Make time for a meal of your own on Dacheng Street, in Taichung’s old town. Wumamii (門前隱味) Taichung Old Town is at No. 15, Dacheng Street, Central District, and takes both online reservations through Inline and walk-ins via an on-site queue.

Outside the window is the Taichung street scene; in front of you, a bowl of beef noodle soup. On weekdays we open for separate lunch and dinner sessions, and we are closed on Thursdays, so check the hours for your day before you set off.

Getting there and parking

The restaurant is in Taichung’s old town, around the Second Market and Taichung Park. Set your navigation to No. 15, Dacheng St., Central District. By train, get off at TRA Taichung Station, then walk or transfer following the Google Maps route. If you’re driving, the Dacheng multi-storey car park (on Jixiang St.) is nearby; fees, opening hours and available spaces are as posted by the car park.

Do I need a reservation?

You can book online through Inline, and walk-ins can join the on-site queue. Without a reservation, you'll be seated based on that day's availability and staff arrangements.

How do I make sure I booked the right branch?

When Inline opens, first check that the branch name is “台中舊城店” (Taichung Old Town), then pick your date and time. After submitting, check the booking confirmation.
